​The question is- why have my prints when you can print your own? The honest answer is simply as this: I am providing a way for you to preserve those prints. A keepsake collector's item which is like an album in itself. Plus, you have the freedom to do what you wish with the digital file as well. You may not go through them daily or even monthly. But our babies don't keep, they will grow up in a blink of eye and one day have their own family.

When that day comes, these photographs will be the most cherished possession in comparison to any luxury brand product or appliance you'll own because it is a representation of your livelihood. Your archives will become the most valuable to your family. And, no one ever- ever regrets having family portraits done. ​ This is coming from a Mom whose daughter is soon to be 10 and I'm frantically trying to recover every photo and video I ever took.

Now I know that was a bit of a "food for thought" that snow balled into rambling, I say we both deserve cupcakes now ;) 

We're gaining a new team mate for the Oregon Trailblazers! Parents are adorably anxiously awaiting for the arrival of Damian Jr. and I think it's safe to say he's got it in the bag for the best gene pool. 
Mum also wanted a clean, white chic background look and boy I am actually looking forward to utilize my skills from shooting editorial and fashion in LA. Of course, we also added in my usual warm toned glam as well. 
Needless to say, we're ready to meet Damian Lillard Jr.!

Lovely little Emma, whose got the best behaved sister and brother. They were incredibly sweet and gentle with their newest baby sister. It was darling and Mum was so in love through every set which made my heart explode even more. 
It's always a pleasure when I know a family values and cherishes the memories that will last a lifetime. Material items deplete in value every year, while photos will become more valuable through time. It took me a while to understand that with my own daughter, and now I search frantically through the house for her baby photos because I now have a pre-teen in my hands.

Reasons why I love what I do- witnessing miracles. Sometimes we get caught up on our busy schedules and not realize what a miracle it is we are alive, to be well, to be safe. This honey bunches was an IVF baby, Mum had a lot of complications during her pregnancy and she was also born premature with some complications. 
When she told me she wanted a photo of her at birth, hooked up to all kinds of machines. I literally cried, because she was a true survivor. You would not be able to tell what she has gone through because she is simply the HAPPIEST soul. I am humbled at the fact that I was blessed to be able to document her striving. Everyday is a blessing, and this was a reminder to us all. 

It was a wonderful day when I got a message from this couple whom I shot their engagement session for. They live out of town and I was truly flattered when they came back to me for another lifetime event. This maternity session at the Happy Valley Park was amazing as it was right around the colder months but Mom was able to brave it for "the shot". I mean, well worth it don't ya think?!

First of all, I am in LOVE with her name! Parents are the coolest, most chill couple ever and so loving. I honestly think my photos turn out better when parents give off a good vibe. But, I don't know how that's possible when it's so soon after giving birth. i was tired, didn't wan't to put pants on and the whole spew haha! So, kudos to all parents who manage to make it to the studio in time for these priceless photos!

Baby's first year packages are my favorite to book, I love being able to experience their journey with the parents. It is absolutely satisfying in many ways to go through the growth and the changes along with each milestone. 
I am always reminded at how fast a year goes by with these little ones while I keep getting more childish myself. They are only a baby for 1 year after-all. 
I will be anxiously awaiting to start my year of documenting Caladin's baby-hood <3 

This is one of those moments that was very touching and memorable to me. This couple has been awaiting for this announcement for a few years too long and I am beyond flattered they chose to have me document for them. 
They're fur siblings even came along to join the photo shoot in welcoming their new baby sister. Please, a round of applause for a new princess in town! 

I just love it when clients and I share the same style. She was beyond happy to find the sets i had put aside for her daughter's session which symbolizes the meaning behind her name
Just a week after her birth and already she has been catapulted into a supreme photo session, of course nothing less for a princess. Her fur-brother, Riley was also there to share the spotlight. They will be best friends learning and growing together with memories since the beginning. 

After our dreamy maternity session is now our newborn session. Mum was a trooper making their way to me after still recovering from her c-section surgery. I am thoroughly honored for them to to put their trust in me to work with their baby in bringing this session together. It's not everyday I get 9 pounder babes but boy are they full of snuggles!
