You’re in good hands. Most of my clients aren’t models—and that’s exactly why you hire a professional. I’ll guide you every step of the way with natural posing, flattering angles, and gentle direction to help you feel confident and relaxed.
Posing, lighting, and artistic styling are my specialty, and you’ll be amazed at how beautifully it all comes together when you see your final images.
When Should I Book My Maternity Photoshoot?
For most expecting moms, the ideal time for a maternity session is between 28 and 32 weeks. At this stage, your bump is beautifully rounded but you’re still comfortable enough to pose and move around with ease.
We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance, especially during busy seasons (spring and fall), to secure your preferred date.
What Should I Wear for a Studio Maternity Session?
We offer a client wardrobe with maternity gowns, draped fabrics, and form-fitting dresses that photograph beautifully in the studio. You’re also welcome to bring your own outfits if you have something special in mind.
Our studio style leans toward elegant, minimal, and timeless—so we’ll help you choose pieces that flatter your shape and keep the focus on you and your bump.
Can My Partner or Children Join the Session?
Absolutely! Many of our clients choose to include partners, toddlers, or older siblings in part of the session. We’ll plan a few posed family shots and then shift focus to capturing your individual maternity portraits.
Where Is Your Studio Located?
Our cozy, light-filled studio is located in West Linn, Oregon. It’s designed for comfort and convenience, especially for expecting mothers.

How Long Does the Session Last?
Studio maternity sessions typically last about 2-3 hours. This allows for multiple outfit changes, different lighting setups, and a calm, unhurried pace. We want you to feel relaxed and fully taken care of from start to finish.
Do You Offer Hair and Makeup?
We provide a preferred vendor list of trusted, professional hair and makeup artists in the Portland area. These artists are familiar with our studio style and know exactly how to create a polished, camera-ready look for maternity sessions.
We recommend scheduling your appointment prior to your shoot, so you can arrive at the studio feeling confident and ready to step in front of the camera. If you'd like help coordinating, we're happy to guide you through the process!
When Will I Get My Photos?
After your session, we’ll schedule a reveal and ordering appointment where you can view your edited images and select your favorites. Final images are typically delivered within 2–8 weeks.
We offer custom albums, wall art, and prints so it will be delivered to your home and on reveal day!
