It's already the big ONE for Crew! He was just 5 days new for our previous session. It always blows my mind how time flies and watching my studio babies grow up have been an incredible privilege on top of connecting with families.
We kept the same white, modern style setup while bringing just a pop of color. Momma had thought of every detail and the cake topper was honestly just fantastic for the theme!
Behind The Scenes
It's her last portrait session from the "baby's first year" package. It's bittersweet to see it come to an end but it's been a process getting around the pandemic to make it all happen and I couldn't be more grateful to have such a wonderful family to work with. Happy 1st birthday baby girl!

This is one of those situations where I would pay the parents to just let me play with their babies, haha! Who doesn't want to see twin babies on their first birthday doing after cake? No one.
Of course, dressing them up is part of the fun too but more so that that- their life will forever be connected to each other. They need to have as many memories to look back on as possible.
Because, they went through about 500 face expressions all within the hour!

It's an epidemic that happens with all the kids, I'll be going through it again this September. I hope we find a cure soon, because I am not looking forward to having Ms. Attitude-bossy pants around.
Times like these is when I look forward to my newborn sessions, just for snuggles =)
p.s. Our neighbor has this adorable cottage fence with an overgrown shrubbery so of course, I had to take Rei for a mini session. I mean, total Italy vibes!
