We recommend having another trusted adult (like a grandparent or friend) take the older children home or to a nearby park right after their photos are finished. This allows the rest of the session to focus solely on the sleepy baby.
Prep Them: Talk to your older child about the session beforehand. Tell them they are coming to take pictures with their new baby, and emphasize that they need to be gentle and quiet while near the baby.
